So last night i went to watch Transformers with my sister and her fiance.
We went to this place called
Movie Tavern,
It was one of those theatres where they serve you actual dinner and such before the movie.
I must say that food was pretty amazing. I think the "awesomeness" of the movie captivated the taste of my Chicken Pomodoro.
Granted, i did almost choke from laughing once or twice during the movie, but it was well worth the struggle.
It was pretty cool. they had these lil red switches on each of the tables that you could turn on anytime during the movie & your waitor would come & cater to you. ha its like a "youre my bitch", switch. nahh jk
friendly service, awesome food, comfy chairs, clean theatre.
only downfall: when the schmuck-ass in front of you calls the waitor and the waitor comes and blocks your view of the screen. which is why i was hesitant to flip the switch(as a common courtesy to assholes behind me who prolly called a waitor 3-4 times to block the view of the bastards behind them)
Oh & its kinda pricey.. its definitely NOT mcdo & movie. eh, well if you put it into perspective, it costs just as much as your average TGI Fridays/Applebees/Chili's menu.
theres one in illinois.. i want to find it!
